We are proud to support many charitable causes at Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa, including our industry’s official charity: The Hair & Beauty Charity. Co-founder Hellen Ward is a trustee, board member and past President of the charity, hence it’s a cause very close to our hearts, and one which we fundraise for throughout the year. THBC is solely dedicated to helping hair and beauty professionals and their children in their hour of need. With a heritage that dates back to The Hairdressers Orphans Fund in 1853, their philosophy has always been to provide financial assistance and support for those in the sector – many of whom sometimes have nowhere else to turn.

The little princess trust
We’re proud to officially partner with The Little Princess Trust to help provide free, real-hair wigs to children and young people experiencing hair loss. Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa is an approved partner salon, with selected, specially trained stylists offering hair donation appointments. We’ll cut and prepare your hair to meet The Little Princess Trust’s guidelines , style and blow-dry it afterwards, and send the hair directly to the charity. In place of a service fee, we kindly ask for a monetary donation equal to your haircut cost either via your own fundraising page or through our dedicated QR code on the day. You’ll also receive an official Little Princess Trust certificate straight after your appointment as a thank-you and proof of your donation.
