Together we’re helping to provide free, real-hair wigs to children and young people and funding vital childhood cancer research. Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa is now an official partner salon, appearing on the LPT map, and our team have been specially trained to handle hair donations in line with the charity’s guidelines.

Book With a Selected Stylist
Hair donation appointments are handled by specially trained team members. Please call reception or email us directly to enquire about availability and to book.

Donate Your Hair
We’ll cut and prepare your hair to meet The Little Princess Trust’s requirements. They ideally ask for 12+ inches of good-condition hair to be donated.

Make a Monetary Donation
In place of a service fee, we kindly ask you to donate the cost of your haircut. This can be done either by showing evidence of your own fundraising efforts (JustGiving / Enthuse) or via our dedicated QR code on the day.

Your Hair Helps Create a Wig
We send your hair directly to The Little Princess Trust. Your hair and monetary donation together help fund the cost of making free, real-hair wigs for children.

Receive Your Certificate
Straight after your service, we’ll give you a Little Princess Trust certificate as a thank-you for your donation, perfect for keeping or sharing on social media!

Q: What’s the minimum hair length to donate?
A: The Little Princess Trust typically requires at least 12 inches (ideally 16 inches) of naturally coloured, good-condition hair.

Q: Do I get proof of donation?
A: Yes, we’ll provide a Little Princess Trust certificate straight after your service.

Q: Can I still style my hair after the cut?
A: Yes, after your donation cut, we’ll offer a style and blow-dry so you leave feeling great about your new look. (Included as part of your appointment but subject to time and stylist availability)

Q: Can you accept coloured or treated hair?
A: The Little Princess Trust prefers natural, good-condition hair. Lightly coloured hair may be accepted depending on the shade and condition.

Q: Can I book online?
A: We recommend calling or emailing us directly so we can allocate the right stylist and ensure your appointment meets the donation guidelines.

Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We suggest at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially for after-school or weekend appointments, as these slots fill quickly.

Q: What happens to my hair after the appointment?
A: We prepare, package and send your hair directly to The Little Princess Trust, where it’s turned into a free, real-hair wig for a child or young person experiencing hair loss.

Selected Team Members Only
Donation haircuts are available only with selected, trained stylists. Please call or email to confirm availability.

Pricing & Donations

Children’s haircuts normally range from £35–£85 depending on stylist level. For hair donation haircuts, we ask for a monetary donation equal to or above the haircut price.

Clients can either: Fundraise in advance (via JustGiving/Enthuse) and show evidence at the appointment; or donate directly to The Little Princess Trust via our dedicated QR code or link on the day of service.

Certificates
A Little Princess Trust certificate will be provided immediately after your appointment as a record and thank-you for your donation.

Hair Donation Guidelines

Hair must meet The Little Princess Trust’s requirements for length, colour and condition. We reserve the right to decline a donation haircut if the hair does not meet guidelines.

Appointment Availability

All donation haircuts are strictly subject to appointment availability. Due to high demand, please book in advance to secure your slot.

Styling & Finishing

Donation haircuts cover the cut and preparation for sending to LPT.

Cancellations & ChangesPlease provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes.
