If you’re greeted by a warm, well-spoken voice on the phone or at reception, chances are it’s James. One of the newest members of our front-of-house team, he’s already a much-loved part of the salon family, adored by both clients and colleagues alike for his dry wit and precision bookings.

Originally from South London and the middle of three siblings, James attended Sherborne School in Dorset, where he discovered a love for the arts. After completing a foundation year in Fine Art, he decided to step away from student life in favour of building a career. With a strong background in customer service at a well-known florist, James was the perfect addition to our team.

He has a natural calmness and quiet efficiency, ensuring every client’s booking runs smoothly. With an eye for detail and a knack for pairing clients with the perfect stylist or technician, James makes sure everyone who visits us feels well looked after from when they arrive to when they leave.

James joined the Richard Ward Team in 2024.
